THE HEROES

GRAPHITE

Graphite’s origins are mysterious—even to himself. Raised by humans on Earth, Graphite realized from an early age that he was not of this planet. Without any clue as to his roots, he created his own identity, mapped the skies, and searched the universe for his home world . . . but to no avail. Now a recluse in his hidden palace on the dark side of the moon, he is all but forgotten. This is as he wishes. He finds peace in his secluded domain. Using his powers, he can create any nonliving thing he desires. Whether an addition to his realm or a feast for a king, it becomes real. In the material world, Graphite wants for nothing. Yet he longs for companionship—of a certain nature. Alas, it seems not to be. . . . For now . . .

POWERS:
• Graphite can render himself Invisible to humans . . . until that one fateful day when another secret power overtakes him.
• With his Powers of Illustration, he has the ability to shine light on Truth and bring Justice. But, will this power be enough to conquer villainy and change the world?
• Other powers revealed in the pages of Draw the Line.

BASED ON:
• Adrian himself, influenced by his passions of sci-fi, superheroes, and Renaissance art. (Especially those "hot saints Michelangelo painted all over the Vatican walls—now those are some superheroes!") Graphite embodies who Adrian wishes to be . . . until . . .

In Draw the Line, Adrian is a keen observer. He sees powerful qualities in his friends that even they don't see.
In his invented superhero versions of them, Adrian empowers his friends with those traits . . . as superpowers!

SULTRY

No matter how or when she employs her potent powers, Sultry always does it with fabulous style. (As she would tell you herself.)

POWERS:
• Telepathy . . . Whether you want her to know what you're thinking or not, she will. (So watch out.)
• Persuasion. Like, resistance is SO beyond futile.
• Truth Telling. Even when you don't want to hear it. Okay, especially when you don't want to hear it.
• General Fabulosity.

BASED ON:
• Audrey, one of Adrian's two best friends.
• Renaissance royalty realness (with killer superhero boots.)

WILLOW

A towering enigma to those who encounter him, Willow bends with the winds of adversity. While he may not be a fighter, he is always ready with a plan. Perhaps the worst plan possible, but a plan nonetheless.

POWERS:
• Bubble of Calm. Nothing can crack his protective swirl . . . or so it would seem.
• With his X-ray Vision, Willow can see through pretense, subterfuge, and, in his words, "the general BS of life."
• Protection. Simply having Willow by your side can intimidate even your worst enemies. But true evil is not easily intimidated . . .

SYMBOL:
• Infinite Radical.

BASED ON:
• Trent, one of Adrian's two best friends.
• A fusion of Renaissance court gentleman, peaceful warrior, and, of course, vampire.
