Spending a glorious weekend with some of my dearest friends (some grouchier than others…)
Following up on my post from yesterday . . . here's the result!
I am so honored to work and play with this phenominal group of creators on the Board of Advisors for @scbwi — I'm continually inspired and learn so much from them all (and we laugh more than one ought to be allowed.) Here's our official Board photo from last week's meeting after the amazing LA Conference, with the magical @linoliver22 & @stephenmooser !
You may already see many wonderful people you recognize in there, but to see who's who, check out the list and bios on the SCBWI website:
So fun taking a lunchtime stroll and coming across this very cool graffiti art installation going in right now @rockcenternyc ! #ILoveNYC
Finally saw a @vhils wall portrait in the wild! (Well, the wilds of Venice, CA.) So cool. He creates the "lines" by carving away the plaster down to the underlying brick. 😎
Starting off our Illustrators Intensive day at #la17scbwi with a master class in narrative figure drawing by @ramon.alex.hurtado with model @markfranklinsnyder -- SO AWESOME! @scbwi
Letting our silver linings show, shine, & sparkle! With the elegant shining light @linoliver22 at the FABU Silver Linings Gala at #LA17SCBWI !
Why thank you, Linda Sue - now I know what it looks like from the back ✂️👶🏻
Repost from Linda Sue Park: "Sitting behind Laurent Linn admiring his perfect bun. #LA17SCBWI"
Kids book peeps know how to partay! Let the after party commence! #LA17SCBWI @scbwi
YA author @novaren talking about @writeinbk 's wonderful ALLEGEDLY in her great session on unreliable narrators here at #LA17SCBWI. (And I'm being reliable … or am I?) @scbwi
Draw the Line
